Aloha, Talofa & Mālō e lelei! We are Kilisitina and Petelo Auvaa, founder of Auvaa Island Made, where the heart of the Pacific converge with the art of woodcarving. All of our woodwork pieces are created and locally sourced in Hawaii, Tonga and Samoa from the famous native wood Koa, occasionally monkeypod. What started as a hobby for my grandpa Esitimoa Lotaki became a business in the early 2000 for him and my grandmother Lupe Fukofuka Kanongata’a. I want to continue their legacy and inspire people of all backgrounds with our Polynesian culture through the work that we do. The joy that comes with sharing our culture with the world is what drives us.
